The appearance of the INNOSILICON T3+ Bitcoin Miner machine
An industrial carton is used for the packaging of the INNOSILICON T3+ Bitcoin Miner machine. You can find all the logistic and warehouse details in the logo on the carton box. You will also find other details like the computing power model, barcode of the miner machine and logo in the label of the carton box.
The box comes in a size of 30.5 cm x 20.3 cm x 27.8 cm. The weight of the whole box with the machine and the accessories is around 13.5 kg.
When you unpack the box, you will find the INNOSILICON T3+ Bitcoin Miner machine wrapped in a dust-proof bag made of plastic. You will also find the ant-static pearl cotton in the package that helps to ensure the safety of the machine during the transportation stage.

Otherwise, the paint on the rack may get peeled or scratched when you push the miner into the racks. In addition, it will result in the rusting of the rack.
There is a protective case provided for the control panel of the INNOSILICON T3+ Bitcoin Miner machine. It is useful for protecting and hiding wires. In addition, it helps to make the miner machine look neat and clean. This design was not there in the previous models.
They have also provided a hole in the protective case. This hole is for observing the condition of the cables inside the miner. We have observed a small issue with this design. There is a small opening in the protective case. It is not possible to disassemble the case since the warranty label is attached to it. If there are any broken fans, it will be tough to fix them
You will also find other interfaces like the IP address reporting button, card slot for SD card, Ethernet interface, status indicator lights, and reset button on the interface of the control board.
Now, we will have a look at the procedure to use the INNOSILICON T3+ Bitcoin Miner machine’s IP setting button.
1. First, you need to press the IP set button for around 4 seconds. The IP address of the machine will be passed on to the SetIP tool during this process. You can use the SetIP tool to set a static IP for the miner. Make sure that the IP is within the network range of the tool.
2. Next, you need to press and hold the same IP set button for around 15 seconds. The duration will be 4 to 15 seconds. Now, the static Ip will change to a dynamic one. You will also see that the settings of the mining pool will be switched back to the default settings.
3. If you are interested in switching the IP of the INNOSILICON T3+ Bitcoin Miner machine to a static one, you need to press and hold the IPset button for more than 15 seconds. This process will switch back the IP address of the miner machine to the default one, which is 192.168.1.254.
Now, we will have a look at the usage of the rest button of the INNOSILICON T3+ Bitcoin Miner machine.
If you do a short press on the reset button, it will restart the miner machine. If you do a long press of 5 to 10 seconds, the miner machine will restore to its factory settings. This option is useful if you have wrongly set some parameters and want to start fresh.

If the light is continuously lit in the normal status indicator, it shows that the IP is a static one. However, if you are seeing a blinking indication, it shows that the IP address of the miner machine is obtained automatically through DHCP.

Installation Settings of the INNOSILICON T3+ Bitcoin Miner machine

Once you open the miner package, you need to check the status of the warranty sticker. If it is damaged, you need to get in touch with the sales representative.
If you notice any kind of metal collision sound from the miner when you shake it.
If you find any difference in the alignment of fans on all the sides.
Once you do all these checks, you can connect the power cable to the socket. Connect the Ethernet cable. Switch ON the miner machine. The miner will start to work in the normal mode.
You can easily see the working status of the hash boards with the help of the indicator lights. If you see fully lit up indicator lights, it shows that the hash boards are running properly. INNOSILICON has provided separator indicator lights for each of the hash boards. If the indicator light of the hash board is blinking, it is telling that the hash board temperature is very high. In this situation, you will have to check the status of the fans in the miner machine. Ensure that they are running. If the lights in the indicator are OFF, it indicates that the hash board are not working. You can try restarting the miner machine to see if it helps solve the issue. It works in most situations.
INNOSILICON T3+ Bitcoin Miner machine is designed to obtain the IP address automatically through DHCP. It is easy to find the IP address of the miner with the help of the IP Scanner software program. You can use the SetIP option and get it.
If you have lots of miner machines, you can assign a fixed IP address to the miner machine with the help of the SetIP option. It will help you to manage a large group of mining machines.
Open the address bar of the browser. You can enter the IP address of the miner here. Now, you need to input the user name and the password details. If you are doing it for the first time on a fresh machine, both the user name and password will be admin. Now, you can see the miner’s control page after successful login.
The first thing that you need to check before configuring the INNOSILICON T3+ Bitcoin Miner machine is to check its firmware version. You can go to the Overview page to see the firmware details of the miner machine.
You can go to the manufacturer’s website to check whether the machine has the latest firmware. If the firmware version is old, you can download the latest firmware from the manufacturer’s website and update the miner machine.
You need to go to the Maintenance/ Firmware option to go to the firmware update page. Now, you can select the firmware that you have downloaded and click on the Upgrade Now option to start updating the firmware of the miner machine.
Once the upgrading process is successful, the INNOSILICON T3+ Bitcoin Miner machine will restart automatically. Make sure that no power outage happens during the firmware updating process. If there are any power issues, it can corrupt the firmware on the miner.
Once the miner machine has successful restarted, you can go to the Settings/ Pools area. Next, you need to go to the mining pool modification page. You can input the IP address of the mining pool, the ID of the miner and the password here. Once you have entered all the necessary details, you can click the Upgrade Pool option to save the details. You need to be very careful while entering the address of the mining pool. Make sure to include “stratum+tcp://” before the address. If you don’t enter these details, you will get invalid details in the prompt. It will be highlighted in red.
Parameter Testing of the INNOSILICON T3+ Bitcoin Miner machine
There are four operating modes for the INNOSILICON T3+ Bitcoin Miner machine. We will be doing the test on the performance mode. When you power on this miner machine, you can see some automatic adjustments happening during the initial 30 minutes. You can see some computing power fluctuations during this time.
All the values recorded during this test are measured only after running the INNOSILICON T3+ Bitcoin Miner machine for more than 24 hours.
