INNOSILICON A10 Pro Ethereum Mining Machine Review

The INNOSILICON A10 Pro is an Ethereum cryptocurrency mining machine. It is manufactured by INNOSILICON. It makes use of the Ethash algorithm for mining. This machine comes with a 500 MH/s (+/- 5 %) computing power as per the specification. The power consumption of this miner machine is around 860 Watts.

The DAG file of the Ethereum is known to grow by 520 M every year. It is according to the recent relevant data. At present, the DAG file of the Ethereum is 3.728G. If you take the Ethereum Classic one, it is 3.82G. If you take these two values into account, we can predict that the DAG files will reach a value of more than 4G in the coming years. So, you will not be able to use the current 4G graphics card for mining Ethereum. So, you will need a more powerful mining machine. The INNOSILICON A10 Pro, with its advance computing power, is capable of doing the mining job more efficiently. This mining machine also comes with 5G.

The INNOSILICON A10 Pro appears like a square box. The actual size of the machine is 36.2 cm (length) x 13.6 cm (width) x 28.5 cm (height). The total weight of the miner machine is around 8.1 kilograms.

The INNOSILICON A10 Pro comes with a single-tube design. The heat dissipation system consists of two fans that are arranged in a parallel fashion. It is for removing the excess heat from the power board. There are cables running between the control board and the computing power board of the miner. The INNOSILICON A10 Pro comes with 3 computing power boards.

You can place the INNOSILICON A10 Pro miner machine in the upright position or in the lying down position. There is a non-slip pad provided at the bottom of the miner machine for its protection. This pad will ensure that the miner remains in a stable position when it is kept in the standing position.

INNOSILICON A10 Pro miner machine comes with a G5118-1400 Watts power supply unit. This power supply unit is capable of providing 12 V DC. It will be in the range of 12.2 to 12.5 V. The maximum current that can be drawn from this power supply is 120 A. This power supply unit is rated for a power of 1450 Watts. The power supply weighs around 2 kg. It is also equipped with over current and overheating protection.

The power supply of the INNOSILICON A10 Pro miner comes with ten 6-pin power connectors. These connectors are for connecting the hash board of the miner machine to the control board. The same power supply unit is also used in the other INNOSILICON miner machines. It includes the A9, A8, A5, A4+, AND D9.

If you are planning to keep the INNOSILICON A10 Pro miner machine in the upright position, you can only keep the power supply in an inclined position due to the restrictions in the length of the cable.

So, it is a good idea to keep the miner machine in the flat position. You can also find the AC power cord interface on the outlet of the power supply unit. You need to ensure that the power outlet position is proper before starting the mining process. Otherwise, the hot air will be going back inside the power supply and will result in the heat reflow.

There are lots of similarities between the INNOSILICON A10 Pro miner machine and miners in the other series. You need to connect the ethernet cable first and then switch on the miner machine. Now, you need to find the IP address of the INNOSILICON A10 Pro miner machine. You can easily find the IP address by going into the router. You can see a device in the router with the name Innominer.

You can go to the Settings/ Pool page after logging in. You can configure the mining pool address here. You can set the mining ID and password also. After setting these parameters, you need to click on the Update Pools section to save these values. You can find it in the lower section. Make sure that the prefix stratum+tcp:?? is added. Otherwise, you will not be able to save the details.

Once you have completed the configurations of the mining pool, the INNOSILICON A10 Pro miner machine will start to adjust the frequency automatically for the mining process. You will not be seeing any computing power data for the first 10 minutes. It is after the mining pool modifications. Once this time duration is over, you can see a gradual increase in the computing power of the INNOSILICON A10 Pro miner. When the computing power of the miner machine increases, the total power consumed by the miner machine also increases. The noise level of the INNOSILICON A10 Pro miner machine during its normal operation is found to be less than 80 decibels. The value is always between 74 and 79 decibels.

Once the machine has successfully run for 53 minutes, the computing power of the INNOSILICON A10 Pro miner machine is around 500 M.

The temperature at the air outlet side of the miner machine is around 34.9 Degrees Celsius, while the temperature of the ambient is 25.8 Degrees Celsius.

When the INNOSILICON A10 Pro is run for a whole day, the computing power in the mining pool is around 503.2 M. This value matches the specifications of the miner. You can expect a small variation in the computing power. The fluctuation is also there in the rate of rejection. The level of fluctuation is not very high. It is well within the acceptable limits.
